John G. Calderon, Partner, has 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry, with an Associate of Science Degree from Kubaski University, Japan and with a major in communications.

As Vice President of Richardson Greenshields Securities Canada/New York/Chicago, (a Securities and Commodity Brokerage Firm) Mr Calderon was responsible for new site locations with implementations of all communication between locations including arbitration between New York and Chicago trading floor exchanges for voice and data.


As President of Calcomm “WAN” Solutions/Chicago and on the Board of Directors/Select Partners Newbridge Network Corporation, he designed and implemented a network DAC’s System with connectivity to a Sun Platform for data-input at Lucent Technologies and Central offices thought out the country.  The design was also utilized for encrypted voice traffic for the Intuit Corporation, makers of Quicken in Downers Grove IL.  A similar design was used to split voice and data from multiple DS1’s at RLI Insurance Corp, Peoria, IL.


Calcomm “WAN” Solutions merged with Digital Network Development with the understanding that the time was approaching where Data and Voice would converge and a new era of Computer Telephone Integration would evolve.

John Calderon Jr., Systems Engineer with DNDC Telephone Company has over 11 years experience in the Unified Communications industry, working with such systems as Mitel/Inter-tel, Lucent, Panasonic, Toshiba, NEC.

Technical experience working with Microsoft, Linux, Sonicwall, Cisco,HP, Dell, Adtran and D-link. John has Mitel/Inter-tel certifications for the following systems (This includes all sub certifications under each product), Mitel Communications Director (MCD- MiVoice Business), Mitel 5000 (Previously Inter-tel 5000 – MiVoice Office), Mitel 3000, Mitel Application Suite (Micollab) and Inter-tel Axxess.

Joseph Weddle, General Manager

Joseph R. Weddle, partner, has 28 years experience in the telecommunications industry. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, he also holds a M.S. in Systems Management from Florida Institute of Technology.

As Vice President of Engineering of ALLNET  Communications Services, Inc., (the third largest alternative long distance carrier in the nation) Mr. Weddle directed an extensive expansion program. His involvement resulted in the successful increase of ALLNET’s base of seven switch cities and ten markets to twenty-eight switch cities and forty markets. Revenues in the same period grew from $35MM with a $1.5MM after tax profit to $144MM and $5.0MM after tax profit.

While Manager of Telecommunications for FMC Corporation, Mr. Weddle designed and implemented a Northern Telecom private electronic tandem network consisting of four switching centers. In addition, Mr. Weddle developed the strategy for integrating voice and data transmission requirements and local area network strategy. His efforts resulted in a direct reduction of over $35MM in annual corporate telecommunications expense.

Mr. Weddle’s other industry experience includes the design and development of an electronic tandem network for Amoco Corporation; tandem switching system design and development for a major manufacturer of central office switching equipment; and design and development of advanced telecommunications and transmission equipment and systems for a major aerospace contractor.

Matthew Weddle, President

Matthew Weddle, President, has over 9 years experience in the telecommunications industry on systems from Mitel, Lucent, Nortel, Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, U.S. Robotics/3Com, Newbridge/Alcatel, Adtran, and more.  Mr. Weddle has technical certifications on telephone and voice mail equipment from Mitel, BMC, Compass/Octel, and AVT.  He has certifications on Unified Messaging systems from Inter-Tel and Novell.  Computer systems experience and training include Microsoft, Novell, Java, SCO Unix, and IBM AIX.  Router technical certifications include Cisco and ACC.  He has experience and training on multiplexing equipment from Adtran, U.S. Robotics/3Com, and Newbridge/Alcatel.  Mr. Weddle has designed and installed Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems from Computer Telephony Solutions.  He has experience and training on Voice over IP (VoIP) systems from Cisco and certifications from Mitel.  His VoIP training and certifications have allowed Mr. Weddle to design and implement many VoIP solutions, and he does consulting for VoIP network design.

Noteworthy projects include phone system and voice mail installation and maintenance for the U.S. Post Office, multiplexer networking for World Cup USA 94, and multiplexer networking for the Lucent  5ESS Central Office switch network.

He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.  While at the University of Illinois, Mr. Weddle participated in the Co-op Work/Study Program at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for four work semesters.  He repaired, modified, and designed system circuit boards for particle collision detectors on the D Zero Muon Experiment.  That experiment was one of two projects concurrently running at Fermi Lab to identify the Top quark, the last particle of the Standard Model of Physics to be experimentally verified.  The Fermi Lab Central Detector Facility experiment won the worldwide race to successfully identify and measure the Top quark.

Ryan Weddle, Vice President

Ryan Weddle, Vice President of Operations, has over 9 years experience in the telecommunications industry.  He holds certifications on Mitel Axxess/5000 CP, Unified Messaging and voice Processing Systems, as well as Novell and Microsoft certifications.  He also holds certifications on several ACD Call Center products and advanced networking.

His experience includes Project Management of large integrated voice and data network installations, as well as implementation of large ACD’s and call centers.  Additionally, he has installed several large corporate private networks and systems.

Mr. Weddle also has experience in designing, configuring, and installing IP telephony networks and routers.
